Zakiyyah facilitates transformative sessions for teens and adults, having offered workshops for institutions ranging from Berklee College of Music, MassArt, the Boston Children’s Chorus and even local elementary schools via the Opening Doors Project.

• Creative Disruption: Leveraging the arts for social change. Topics include Remixing for Social Change, Effective Messaging, and Strategies for Artist-Changemaking

• The Artist as the Entrepreneur: Navigating the business of craft. Topics include Crafting an Artist Identity, Creative Marketing, and Building an Equitable, Sustainable, Independent Practice

• Arts Practice: Skill-building in Creative Writing, Songwriting, and Art as Storytelling

One-off sessions are typically 1-2 hours, with the option to customize for groups who would like deeper engagement via day-long sessions or a workshop series. Content can be modified for all age groups. If you have a specific vision aligned with these themes, let’s build together.
